Welcome to Helping The Hungry, the heart and soul of Lone Peak High School's commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in need. Based in Highland, Utah, our club was founded with the simple yet powerful aim of providing service and support to our local community. Our journey began in our 9th-grade year, but it was during our sophomore year that we officially established Helping The Hungry as a club at Lone Peak. Meeting twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch, you can find us in Dr. Haynie's room, room 613. We invite anyone with a passion for making a positive impact to join us, and no formal membership is required. Simply show up on one of our meeting dates, and you're instantly part of our compassionate and dedicated team. Throughout the course of our club's existence, we have been on a mission to make the world a better place. We've organized food drives to help alleviate hunger in our community, collected shoes to provide comfort to those in need, and volunteered our time and energy to local causes. Beyond our philanthropic efforts, we have bonded as a close-knit group, forming friendships that extend beyond the walls of our school.
